The Masjid Al-Tawheed Community

In 2003, a small group of Bosniak Muslims had a vision: to establish a community in Brooklyn where we can stay connected to our Islamic identity. We started in a tiny, rented studio apartment. We didn't have much space, but we understood its importance.

Since then, Tewheed Islamic Center (Masjid Al-Tawheed) has grown Alhamdulilah. What began as a space for Bosniak immigrants from war-torn Bosnia (former Yugoslavia) has turned into a multi-ethnic home for Muslims of all backgrounds.
